So true for our community

1 shelter bed added to your system of care requires 6 housing resources per year to avoid warehousing people in shelter. And that, my friends, is the part of the discussion that is lost as communities wrestle with expansion of shelter, sanctioned campgrounds, safe parking, and other forms of shelter...

Thank you volunteers for helping us with our annual Point in Time survey. We will continue to count any homeless walk in cluents through Monday.

After weeks of preparation, volunteers and service providers hit the streets Tuesday to talk with the county’s most vulnerable residents in an effort to get a better idea of just how many are living without a home and what services they need.

Looking for donations to help us battle swarming termites in two of our houses. Each house will cost $810. Any thing you can do will help. Donations can be made on our website at www.homelesscoalitionstjohns.com or dropped off at our offices at 62 Chapin St.

We provide housing & innovative programs to assist the most chronic homeless families with children in Florida’s St. Johns County to get off the street and on the road to self-sufficiency.
