On June 12th , Dave Parramore will begin a journey that spans more than 2,700 miles: from Banff, Canada, to Antelope Wells, New Mexico; riding the Tour Divide in roughly 40 days.

But this ride is about more than miles. It’s about stepping into the unknown. Letting go of control. Embracing the challenges that come when there are no guarantees, no safety nets, and no clear outcomes.

Throughout Scripture, the number 40 often marks a season of testing, refinement, and transformation. For Dave, this journey is an opportunity to explore what truly sustains us when life gets hard….physically, mentally, and spiritually.

At Recovery RX, that message resonates deeply. Every day, we walk alongside men and women navigating their own seasons of challenge and transformation. Recovery isn’t a journey anyone is meant to take alone. It requires community, accountability, perseverance, and hope.

We’re grateful for Dave’s partnership and raising money for Recovery RX and Comeback Recovery Home. His heart for serving others, and his willingness to use his platform to bring awareness to the work being done through Recovery RX. As he embarks on this incredible adventure, we invite you to follow along, pray for safe travels, and be reminded that even the hardest journeys can lead to new beginnings.

Because whether you’re crossing continents or rebuilding a life, none of us were meant to do it alone.

“I wish I could give more.” — We hear that a lot.

We are so appreciative of our donors and gifts of all sizes! We could not have helped 59 people on their journey to sobriety without you! And the truth is, there is a simple way to increase the impact of your giving, by spread it out over the course of the year through recurring donations.

“As someone who regularly gives to charities (including this one), I was shocked when I first learned about recurring giving. What a simple solution that allowed me to make an impact closer to what my heart really wanted to give. “

We’ve made it simple for our Recovery RX and community to do the same. Through our giving page, you can choose an amount and frequency that fits both your budget and your heart.

Why are recurring gifts so important for nonprofits like ours? They help us better forecast budgets, create stability, and ensure we have funds available the moment someone comes to us ready to make one of the most important decisions of their life by choosing recovery.

Most importantly, recurring giving allows you, our community, to make a greater impact than you may have imagined! Check out the donation link in our bio to learn more.

We are still blown away by the support shown at the Black Forge Tattoo event last month.

Because of this incredible community, Black Forge Tattoo donated $3,000 to Recovery RX + . On top of that, we raised an additional $680 in t-shirt sales, had 3 of our staff members get tattooed and connected with so many people asking how they could get involved and help.

Recovery and restoration don’t happen alone; it takes community, support, and people willing to believe that lives can change. We couldn’t do this without God’s grace and the people who continue to stand behind this mission every day. Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported, donated, bought apparel, and believed in what we’re building together!

Make sure you go give a follow and book your next tattoo appointment!

If these walls could talk at our Comeback Recovery Home, they’d tell you about the tears that fell here, the quiet moments of surrender, the late-night prayers, and the breakthroughs that felt impossible just months before.

They’d tell you about challenges faced, chains breaking, victories won, and hope slowly returning in the hearts of men who chose a different path.

One year ago today, these walls were delivered; empty, quiet, and full of possibility. All we had was faith, a vision, and a community that believed transformation was worth fighting for. And even though the doors wouldn’t officially open until January 17th, the story of this home started the moment it arrived.

Since then, this place has witnessed courage, men choosing recovery, choosing growth, choosing life. We’ve seen jobs gained, families rebuilt, identities restored, and brothers praying for one another in ways only God could orchestrate.

To every supporter, volunteer, donor, and friend who stood beside us: thank you. Your prayers, your generosity, your belief in this mission are woven into every story within these walls.

Today we celebrate one year since the home arrived! A milestone of vision becoming reality. And we can’t wait to celebrate the one-year opening anniversary this January, when we look back at all God has done since the day the doors finally opened.

Here’s to another year of hope, healing, and restored lives. And we’re just getting started.

Looking Ahead:
When we look back at these last two years, one thing stands out: God moved through this community in a powerful way. Through Scars Under the Stars, private donors, supporters, and friends who wanted to help, you raised $178,068 toward expanding recovery housing for men and women who need a second chance.

That means we are only $21,932 away from fully funding this next chapter: a place of refuge, healing, restoration, and hope.

Scars Under the Stars wasn’t just a fundraiser this year; it was a night where stories broke chains, where people said “yes” to being part of something bigger, and where generosity overflowed in ways we never expected.

Every dollar matters.
Every small gift becomes part of someone’s comeback story.
Every prayer strengthens the foundation we’re building.

We’re close, so close.
Help us step into the finish line together.

There’s something deeply healing about serving others, especially when you’re still in the process of healing yourself.

When we show up to give, to listen, to lift someone else, we’re reminded that our pain has purpose. That even in our brokenness, God can use us to bring comfort, hope, and strength to others walking a similar road.

At Recovery RX and Comeback Recovery Homes, we see it every day, men and women in recovery discovering that healing doesn’t just happen to you… It often happens through you.

We are so proud of the men and women in sobriety who continue to show up, not just for themselves, but for their communities. Their courage to serve while still healing is a powerful reminder of what restoration truly looks like.

Because when you serve, you connect.
When you give, you grow.
And when you pour out, God refills you.

Healing people. Helping people heal.
That’s the comeback. That’s the mission.
