Preschool Child Find Screenings
Henry’s Fork Elementary and Ashton Elementary will conduct Preschool Child Find screenings for children ages 3 and 4 who are suspected of having a disability, including a developmental delay, and may need special education services. This is not a general developmental or school-readiness screening. It is intended for children whose development raises concerns about a possible disability, including concerns related to communication, speech and language, cognition, hearing, vision, motor development, social interaction, or other disability-related needs.
Screenings will be held at Henry’s Fork Elementary from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, and Tuesday, August 18, for families on the south end of the district. Screenings will be held at Ashton Elementary from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, for families on the north end.
To schedule an appointment at Henry’s Fork Elementary, please call the school at 208-624-7422. To schedule at Ashton Elementary, call 208-652-7601.
If your child is already enrolled in the district preschool program, they do not need to be screened.
Please help us spread the word to neighbors and community members who may not have school-aged children.

Fremont County Joint School District is hiring paraeducators for the 2026–2027 school year!

Positions are available in classroom instructional support and behavior intervention support across the district. Paraeducators play an important role in supporting student learning, behavior, independence, and success throughout the school day.

Positions follow a 4-day school week, Monday–Thursday, with approximately 27–29 hours per week. Hourly rate starts from $14.04–$15.60.

BUS ROUTE & ACTIVITY DRIVERS NEEDED: We have 2 route driver positions open for next year.
Please apply today! We will guide you through the CDL process and reimburse your expenses after the school year. Pay rates for route drivers starting at $18.39 per hour and activity drivers at $15.34 per hour during the entire event. SCHOOL CALENDAR UPDATE: This is a reminder and update regarding the final days of the school year:

There will be no school on Thursday, May 21, as the School Board has designated the day as a Teacher Appreciation Day.
There will also be no school on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.
School will be in session on May 26–28.
Thursday, May 28 will be a full/regular school day and the last day of school for students and teachers.
In addition, the School Board has designated Friday, May 29 as a no school day.
