It's time to get to know our new principal Mr. Jackson!

Mr. Jackson was one of our A+ Judges when we applied for the Award. He has also been a Basketball coach to many Roadrunners.

He has been a principal for 13 years at various schools including an elementary school, a middle school, a k-8 school and a high school.

He grew up in Tucson but has lived in Sahuarita for 20 years with his family. His wife is a teacher at Anza Trail and his children go to Walden Grove and Anza Trail. He also is a proud
UA WIldcat Fan! He loves listening to music and traveling to the beach or the mountains.

It's time to officially get to know our new Assistant Principal! Here's a few fun facts about Ms. Carrillo!

1. Triple Degree - Ms. Carrillo has three degrees: a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, a Master's in Educational Policy, and a Master's in Educational Leadership.

2. Swiftie - Ms. Carrillo is a HUGE Swiftie and can identify any of her songs within the first TEN seconds of playing it!

3. Founding Teacher - Ms. Carrillo picked out her first classroom at Wrightson Ridge before the sidewalks were even finished!

4. Disney Adult - Ms. Carrillo, along with her mother and sister, considers herself a "Disney Adult" and tries to visit Disneyland at least once a year, preferably during Christmas.

5. Bear Down - Ms. Carrillo is a huge University of Arizona sports fan, even though she says hse can't play any sports.

6. Play-Doh Kid - Ms. Carrillo's favorite thing to play with as a child was Play-Doh, which is why this is her favorite Halloween costume.

7. Ms. Carrillo's favorite things include succulents (tiny but mighty, like her), black coffee, and Wrightson Ridge!
