Our students had the opportunity to learn from Barb, a Reiki Master and Energetic Body Worker, and what an incredible experience it was!

Barb guided us through healing touch work, a sacral release technique, the chakra system, and the fascinating world of energy work. Her passion for what she does is undeniable and you can truly feel how much she loves sharing her knowledge with others.

What stood out most was the positive energy she brought into the room. She kept our students engaged, intrigued, and open to exploring concepts that were new to some of them. She also took notice of the close-knit bond our class has developed, which made the experience even more meaningful.

The evening was filled with learning, connection, curiosity, and positivity. We are so grateful that Barb shared her gifts, wisdom, and experience with us. Thank you, Barb, for providing such a memorable “download” of energy work and for helping our students see another perspective of healing.

Learning never stops. Healing comes in many forms.

A big thank you to Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa for visiting Saginaw School of Massage last week!

Our students enjoyed learning about career opportunities, workplace culture, and what it’s like to work for a nationally recognized massage therapy company. We appreciate your support of the next generation of massage therapists!

As a massage therapist in Saginaw, I’ve had to do something I never enjoy doing…turn people away.
Not because they weren’t a good fit. Not because they didn’t need help. Simply because there weren’t enough appointment times available.

I’ve watched my own schedule fill months in advance. I’ve watched the therapists who work with me develop wait lists. I’ve spoken with chiropractors, physical therapists, spas, wellness centers, and massage clinic owners throughout our area who are all saying the same thing:

“We need therapists.”

The demand for skilled massage therapists continues to grow, yet there simply aren’t enough well trained professionals to meet the need.

And today’s therapists need more than great hands. They need knowledge. They need critical thinking. They need communication skills. They need to understand the real people they’ll serve every day, such as pregnant clients, cancer patients, individuals recovering from surgery, athletes, people living with autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, stress, and countless other challenges.

That’s why we created Saginaw School of Massage.
In just 11 months and 700 hours of education, you’ll learn from practicing therapists who genuinely love this profession and care deeply about the people we serve.

This isn’t just about passing an exam.
It’s about becoming the kind of therapist your community is searching for.

If you’ve ever felt called to help people, this may be the place to begin.

700 Hours. A Lifetime of Impact.

The best learning happens when the body and mind are both ready. A quick stretch and yoga session was enjoyable!

Tonight we had the opportunity to meet with several local businesses that hire massage therapists! They shared valuable insight, advice, and information about their workplaces with our students.

We heard from Tiffany at Serendipity in Frankenmuth, who shared thoughtful gifts and information about their unique spa services.

Next, Dr. Barrigar and Dr. Waro from Shields Chiropractic spoke about the benefits of massage therapy and chiropractic care working together.

Finally, Victoria, owner of Devwoods in St. Charles, shared her experience in the spa and service industry and inspired our students with her knowledge and beautiful space.

We are so grateful to these businesses for taking time out of their busy schedules to support our future therapists!
