CCN ARC

Hello friends. I am looking for a new missionary to work at ARC.

It takes about $675 per month to plant one part-time campus missionary per year or $1250 monthly to plant one each semester.

I contribute to this monthly myself.

Who will join me to make this happen? 100% will go to finding, equipping, and funding new CCN missionaries in this area including at ARC. None goes to pay me, CCN national, or anyone other than the new campus missionaries.

As of this moment our room has not been approved. However it may get approved in time for our meeting at 2:30 this afternoon.

If our room is approved then we will be meeting in Community Room 3, located just past the E-Services office in the Student Center.

If it is not approved in time then we will be meeting at a table in the Library Quad and we will begin meeting in the Community Rooms starting next week.

Either way, look for a white plastic sign that says Evangelism Club and look for me in my red CCN t-shirt.

Due to lack of attendance I am going to discontinue fellowship meetings temporarily. The plan is to start again on march 9 or 16 when I expect us to get a room to meet in.

I will also post a new flyer once the room and date are confirmed.

We had our first Sacramento CCN Saturday tonight.

I was prevented from being there until very late and then wasn't able to get anyone to speak with me in the few minutes that I had.

So, was it a failure? NO!

I was able to put a few tracks in people's hands and three brothers who were more diligent than I to arrive on time were out their proclaiming the Gospel.

The Word of God went out and that is never a failure. God be glorified and may His words echo in the ears and minds of those who heard it tonight and may they be driven toward Him.

I'm not sure if you are aware of what is going on near here. At a nearby campus, the University of California at Davis, the student government recently took a vote to urge the campus to boycott all Israeli or Jewish businesses. When the Jewish students spoke up in protest they were literally shouted town to cries of "Allahu Akbar". Not long after a Jewish frat house was spray-painted with swastikas and Jewish students started receiving "fake" eviction notices.

We don't take a position in CCN on politics or how the USA deals with its allies. But this isn't about that. This is about a people being persecuted and solely because God has placed His mark upon them and declared them to be His holy people, set aside for Him. While not all Jews have placed their trust in Messiah they are never the less persecuted for His name's sake.

These are the people to who God entrusted His word and who by their trust in Him the scriptures have been preserved for us. They are a Holy nation set aside for His purposes and it is they whom He has declared that whose who bless them will be blessed and those who curse them will be accursed.

I just requested a meeting room for us to use for our fellowships. Please pray that it doesn't run into difficulty.

They are predicting rain from about 12-3 this afternoon. If you are coming to the outreach you can meet me at noon in the Student Center near (but not inside) the large entrance to the cafeteria.
