Today we're celebrating Hunter, one of our Homeschool Pro students, on his high school graduation. Shortly after graduating, he got the news he had been waiting for. 🎓

He's been accepted into Justice Studies: Public Safety at NBCC, starting this September — two years of college, then a degree, with his sights set on a career in public safety. Police, military police, corrections. He's finishing up his time in Cadets, has a drone licensing course this summer, and is looking at joining the Reserves.

And honestly, this didn't surprise us one bit. Hunter wasn't just along for the ride these past few years — he showed up. He was a winner in our online Science Fair and talent show, and jumped into the contests and challenges we put out when there was no requirement to do so. He's the kind of student who looks for the extra opportunity instead of the easy way out, and it shows in everything he's gone on to do.

But here's the part that stayed with us. His mom told us afterward that near the end, they got nervous. They started overthinking it, wondering if they'd done enough, if they needed more. They hadn't. He was done. He was ready. The doubt was the only thing standing between them and this moment.
