My name is Mykel Rideout I've been a mom for the past 13 years, but my career was in property management. In 2020 during the pandemic, I welcomed my last child into the world. Rather than returning to work and placing my baby in daycare during such uncertain times, I chose t

o stay home and provide childcare for close friends and family. This experience turned into a passion for nurturing and supporting children's growth & development. When: Saturday, February 14, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Hey there! I’m Mykel Rideout, a mom of three amazing kids—my oldest is 13, and my youngest is just 3! After stepping away from the corporate world during the chaotic times of COVID, I realized that finding quality care for my little one was more daunting than ever. That experience inspired me to create an in-home daycare where parents can feel at ease knowing their children are loved, supported, and cared for as if they were right there with them. ❤️

As a proud Cancer, nurturing is in my blood! I’m also the oldest of five siblings, so I’ve been practicing my caregiving skills since I was about two. 😄 We live with a rescued dog and three chickens, adding to our lively household!

When I’m not busy making life fun for little ones, you can find me reading, weightlifting, at music shows or trying (and failing) to grow a garden—seriously, how do I keep killing my plants? 🌱 I love spending time outdoors with my family, but let’s be real, stepping on Legos, mosquitoes and my dog drooling on me right after my shower are my biggest pet peeves. Oh, and horror movies? Absolutely NOT! 😱
