Today, we celebrate the Xi Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and honor the Exhilarating women who chartered our chapter on May 21, 1994, at Sacramento State. Their vision created a legacy that continues to inspire generations of women to lead, serve, and uplift our community.

The Xi Epsilon Chapter would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to our New Beginnings Essentials Donation Drive this past month!

This past weekend, to close out the semester, we hosted our mock community baby shower, “It Takes a Village,” where we collected essential items for women and babies in the Sacramento area 💙💛.

Thank you to everyone who contributed, supported, and helped make this semester so impactful. The love, generosity, and community spirit did not go unnoticed!!

We’ll see you all in Fall 2026 with even greater and impact events ahead! 💙💛

Soror Scaife proudly represented the Xi Epsilon Chapter during the weekend of April 16–19 at the 74th Mighty Western Region Conference in Portland, Oregon! An unforgettable experience filled with learning, growth, and moments that were both inspiring and empowering. Truly grateful for all that was gained 💛💙

The Xi Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. proudly supports Denim Day through our commitment to advocacy, education, and service. We remain dedicated to raising awareness, uplifting survivors, and promoting a culture of accountability and respect. Denim is more than a symbol. it is a statement. 💙💛

In 1999, an Italian Supreme Court ruling overturned a r**e conviction, suggesting that the victim’s clothing implied consent. The decision sparked international outrage, leading women in the Italian Parliament to wear denim in protest. Giving rise to what is now recognized as Denim Day.

Today, Denim Day serves as a global movement to challenge victim-blaming and stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence.

We wear denim to stand in solidarity and to affirm that what someone wears is never consent.
