Nyob Zoo, LHWM friends and families. Thank you all so much for your patience while you wait for the return of our playgroups. Since 2021, there has been a lot of changes internally and now there has been a setback for one of our very own, Xib Fwb Nkauj Yi. For those of you who know her, she's been our lead playgroup instructor. She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in October of 2022 and currently going through chemo.

To those of you who found out via social media, we appreciate your love and encouragement. You have asked how you can help so we are sharing her GoFundMe page to help her with expenses. This will help her focus on her health and her littles during her cancer journey. Any amount is enough and just your kind words of encouragement and healing are welcomed.

If you're in MN, her family is currently hosting a Pho Fundraiser at Smok'N Outdoors Bbq every Saturday and Sunday of February. Stop in for some take-out Pho to support her. They are also selling tshirts created by our Creative Director, Lylena Hmong Couture for $25.

Let's cheer her on so she can recover and get back to learning Hmong with us!

There is so much more to behaviour than most people think. Children don’t try to upset us, there is usually something behind it. They are communicating their need through behaviour. If we look behind the behaviour we can see a child who is doing the best they can.
