It's starting to feel like FALL around here! Ah, these cooler temps are so refreshing, especially the crisp mornings.

Speaking of fall, I have only TWO mini sessions left on Sunday, October 4th in Auburn...4:20 or 4:40 pm. Cost is $175 for a 15-minute session and 5 digital images (with the option to buy more if desired).

Minis are great for small families, couples, kids (instead of school pics), or high school seniors who want a few images for the yearbook.

I love tiny things. Most of the time, I don't collect them; I just love to marvel at their wonder and whimsy. When I discovered these miniature photo albums recently, I "eeked" out loud. Seriously, how adorable are these?!

Hi, it’s Jennie! A photographer friend challenged me to post five things about myself, unrelated to photography. So, here goes…

1- I adore flowers, especially ones growing in my yard! 🌻This beautiful dahlia greets me every morning when I step out my front door.

2- I caught the travel bug early in life ✈️ (thanks to my mom + dad), and Switzerland is my favorite European destination.🇨🇭

3- I love to read, always have. 📚I read for fun and I read to learn more about this wonderful world. Right now, I’m 10 pages into Remarkably Bright Creatures.

4- I drive a white Honda Pilot with 200,000+ miles. 🚗 😆

5- One year ago, we welcomed two fainting goats to the family. 🐐🐐This brother-sister duo helps with brush management, but mostly, they just make me smile. 😊

Featuring Whitney High 2026 grad, Emme, on the blog today!

This strong and beautiful Whitney High School senior introduced me to a NEW location, which was SO fun! Emme learned about Magnolia Ranch Trailhead on social media, and when she suggested it, I was happy to go and check it out. (If you know me, you know I like to hike.)

Aspire Behavior Consulting recently hired me to take professional headshots of their lovely employees. One morning, I took photos at Jensen Botanical Garden (a hidden gem in Carmichael) and on a second day, I took pictures at their Fair Oaks office. This is the wonderful Janessa in Jensen Botanical Garden!
