I think we may have just discovered the origin of the Shroud of JESUS; the Shroud of Turin. When you make a sacrifice for The Lord, When you spend money on The LORD, or give to His poor, it can and will be an eternal memorial for you; Joseph of Arimathea spent his own money on fine linen to wrap Christ in, and if this is the Shroud, it now bears witness 2,000 years later, and has for many generations, the Image of The Lord, bringing many to Christ. What could your sacrifice do? Oh, and one more thing. Joseph, a member of the high court; the Jewish Supreme Court, “took courage,” taking his life in his hand, to ask for The Body of Jesus to be given to him, by the feared Roman governor Pilate.

It’s December already! This month’s celebrations (and precious few hours of daylight) remind us of the importance of being a light in the darkness. And with all the darkness shadowing our world right now, it’s more important than ever to pause and ask ourselves, “How can I be a light that shines brightly?”

This Shabbat, as we rest and recharge, let’s fill ourselves with that light, that we might illuminate the world around us. Shabbat Shalom!

What’s your favorite love story? My favorite story has to be about a man who loved the world so much, but he wasn’t even promised that this world would love him back. He took the sins of this world on his back, and died on the cross for their sins so that they could be forgiven and could have a relationship with his Father. He died for them so that they could live forever in Heaven someday. These people beat him and tortured him, but with his dying breath, he cried Father forgive them, they don’t know what they’re doing.

This man didn’t stay dead, but he rose again, and now he sits in Heaven with his Father, waiting and praying for his children to come home. He made a way for them to come home to him.

This is my favorite love story because I am that person he died for. He didn’t owe me anything, but he chose to give me everything. He didn’t have to take my punishment, but he wanted me in Heaven someday so he did. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do to bring me back home. Jesus loves us all so much. You’ll never know a love like the love Jesus has for you.

This is the best love story because it’s a story that each of us get to be a part of. All we have to do is invite Jesus into our lives and he will come and meet with us. Inviting Jesus into your life is the greatest decision you will ever make!

If you’ve never invited Jesus into your life, pray with me… Dear Jesus, come into my life. Forgive me of my sins. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and your love. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins that I could be in Heaven someday. Thank you for making me a part of your family. In Jesus’ name I pray… 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Amen 🙏🏼🙏🏼
