“Hey everyone, I’m Daniel Velichko and I had the privilege to go to GWP Missionary school in fall 2024. After our semester I had the amazing opportunity to go and serve in Iwaki Japan at a local church. The mission field in Japan is very different than what we have back home, but nevertheless God gave us opportunities and divine appointments for him to do his work through us. We were able to build our relationships with the local people here in the church and in the city. Our main ministries are building relationships and reflecting Jesus to them by our words and actions. We also have been doing a lot of maintenance to the church and base where we are staying. The building is very old and pretty big for Japans standards, so a lot of things that need to be cleaned or maintained have been accumulating over the years. We had the opportunity to also do a church visit in Tokyo, and after talking to them we realised that there were over 8 different nationalities in a small room with 30 people, many of which were missionaries from all over the world as well. It was very encouraging to see that God is not just working in the city of iwaki, but all over Japan. As our stay here in Japan is coming to an end, I can see how God was working through me and on me as well, taking me into a deeper revelation and understanding of his love for me and the sacrifice he took for us so that we may be with him. And he has been teaching me obedience and discipline in tough times, and trusting in the path and season that he is leading me in, to hold his hand and walk the path presented before me by him. I thank God that he has taken me through this season, he has taught me much and revealed even more to me than I could imagine. God is good, Japan will be saved!!”

The revealing of the next chapters of life is something wonderful and exciting— and we can always rest knowing that God is the best author of every chapter and the best writer to each story 💌

It is no small thing to give one’s life to the Lord, when it costs everything, and the reward of such a price— immeasurable
