Krav Maga for Women A community for women who train in Krav Maga. Our primary focus is to offer FREE self defense seminars and community classes to as many communities as possible.

The mission of the Warrior Forged Project is to inspire and empower women, teens, families and children, to courageously fight through life’s battles, by teaching them mental and physical life skills and how to obtain a healthy lifestyle through the use of martial arts. The project was founded because our executive director, Stacey Councilman, wanted to put together a group of strong, empowered wo

men to teach other women, that they too, could become strong and empowered. Stacey never wanted to charge students admission for spreading her knowledge but wanted to get the word out and teach more then just her small community. She wanted to find a team, because behind every successful woman, there is a tribe of other successful women who have her back. As soon as Stacey decided that the Warrior Forged Project should be a non-profit, her entire team came to her with an ease that still gives her goosebumps. Not only did we build a team in what seemed like minutes… but now we have a second team developing in Redding (Stacey’s hometown), and looking for more instructors near and far to start the WFP program in their own towns. Our secondary focus is to train women to be instructors alongside us, to promote consistent training in, not only multiple martial arts simultaneously, but also in personal protection – body-guarding, criminology, victimology, the law of self defense, tactical training, personal training, health and nutrition, etc. In focusing on these two areas, we plan to spread awareness of the need for self defense education throughout the world. Attention Martial Arts Gym Owners!

We’re on the road and looking for martial arts gyms who want to host a FREE women’s self-defense seminar with Mean Girl Self Defense. We've helped hundreds of women start their Martial Arts journey through our seminars and courses. Let us host a seminar at your gym and show you what we are all about! If you’re in (or within driving distance of) any of the areas on this flyer, we’d LOVE to work with you, and do a FREE Womens Self Defense Seminar at YOUR academy.

Not in one of the areas/states listed on the flyer? Still reach out. We’re open to traveling to other areas too.

We’ve taught almost 700 seminars throughout the US, and these events are all about empowering women, building trust in your community, and helping new students feel confident walking through your doors for the first time. It’s good energy, tested and proved training, and a whole lot of heart.

When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day.
An angel came by and asked, “Why spend so much time on her?"
The Lord answered, “Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her?

She must function in all kinds of situations.
She must be able to embrace several kids at the same time.
Have a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart.
She must do all this with only two hands.
She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day.”

The angel was impressed, "Just two hands...impossible!
And this is the standard model?"
The angel came closer and touched the woman.
“But you have made her so soft, Lord."
"She is soft", said the Lord,
"But I have made her strong. You can't imagine what she can endure and overcome."

"Can she think?" The angel asked.
The Lord answered, "Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate."
The angel touched her cheeks.
"Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put too many burdens on her."
"She is not leaking...it is a tear" the Lord corrected the angel.
"What's it for?" Asked the angel.
The Lord said, “Tears are her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride."

This made a big impression on the angel,
"Lord, you are a genius. You thought of everything. A woman is indeed marvellous!"
Lord said, “Indeed she is.

She has strength that amazes a man.
She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.
She holds happiness, love and opinions.
She smiles when she feels like screaming.
She sings when she feels like crying.
Cries when happy and laughs when afraid.
She fights for what she believes in.
Her love is unconditional.
Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies but she finds strength to get on with life."

The angel asked: "So she is a perfect being?"
The Lord replied, "No. She has just one drawback...she often forgets what she is worth.”
