Created in 2012, the Sacramento Food Film Festival was born from the idea that we must educate the public about our food system, and work collaboratively to create positive change. We seek to bring educational films to our region that are otherwise ignored by traditional theaters – and to create a community dialog to improve food literacy and invoke action to improve our food system.

🎬 🎥 🥦 Vote for Food Literacy Center! 🎬 🎥 🥦

The The American Institute of Architects Film Challenge is a film contest that amplifies stories of architects partnering with communities and civic leaders to design a healthy, sustainable, just world that improves peoples’ lives.

Watch and vote for Christopher Grant's mini-documentary, "They Never Give Up On Us", that tells the story of our new center at Leataata Floyd Elementary School. Floyd Farms will be home to a city-run community garden, Food Literacy Center’s cooking school and headquarters, and student gardens managed by our program staff. This project is in partnership with HMC Architects, The Mill at Broadway, and Sacramento City Unified School District.
