Dear Newcastle Area Business Association Members - Update about the Mandarin Festival.

Regrettably, due to unforeseen and escalating rental costs at the Gold Country Fairgrounds, the difficult decision was made to relocate our beloved agricultural event. After careful consideration, we secured the Grounds at the Placer County Fairgrounds in Roseville, CA, as the new venue for this year's festival.

This decision was not made lightly, but we believe it is essential to safeguard the sustainability and accessibility of our association's initiatives, particularly in promoting business within the Newcastle area. We acknowledge that this relocation may bring about some inconveniences and could impact our neighboring Auburn business community, which has historically seen almost a million dollars in annual sales directly attributable to our festival.

We value your understanding and unwavering support during this period of transition. Please anticipate further updates regarding the new location as we finalize arrangements. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

These were our top nine performing posts on Instagram. We feel it is a good representation of the things that were most important to us at Twin Peaks Orchards in 2022.

Our team, the beautiful fruit they work so hard to produce, and collaborations with our local food community.

Wow, this year also kept us on our toes!!! We experienced major crop loss related to weather for both of our crucial growing seasons. We planted some different row crops to make up for the loss and to keep our team working, with some success and some challenges. But overall, we were really inspired by the results and will continue to diversify our crops.

The support from our customers continues to amaze us! We cannot thank you all enough, from those of you that shop at the farmers markets and farm stand, our chefs, restaurants and distributors for putting local and seasonal produce on their menus, our local grocers making room for us on their shelves. There are so many of you to be thankful for!

We are looking forward to another season with all of you. Happy New Years from all of us here at Twin Peaks Orchards! See you in 2023!!

Good morning! The farm stand is open today and tomorrow from 10-4 with certified organic Satsuma mandarins, Meyer lemons, Amagaki persimmons and other delicious treats. We will NOT be offering a you pick this weekend.
