Let Your Light Shine On!

In my backyard there is a lovely bush with the most beautiful fuchsia colored blooms. When darkness falls, the blooms change into tight buds, all turned inward, as if they are hiding from the night. Once morning comes, the blossoms fully open and become vibrant and full of life. We are like that. When sadness happens upon us, we turn within and we do not let our beauty shine. We just sit their with all of our stress, keeping ourselves small. Once light hits our face and we feel the warmth of its touch, we once again open up in fully glory and we shine.
