What's that thing you've been wanting to do but you're too scared to do?

For me, it was leaving my corporate job to pursue hair. Then this year it was opening my own salon studio to work closer to home.

Both felt SO risky for so many reasons. But I wouldn't have had the opportunity for the second decision without making the first.

Sometimes doing things scared pays off. Sometimes it leads to bigger and better things for you, things you never knew you'd want.

So, just do the damn thing already! And if you need someone to support you along the way, that's where I come in! I can't imagine how much faster I would have gotten here if I'd had a coach.

So much of my life has been curated overtime. Each decision we make leads to the next opportunity.

If you're scared, do it anyway.
If you're worried, that's ok.
If you feel like fraud, you won't one day.

You already know in your gut what you want love, so go do the damn thing!

I want to give your permission.

Permission to love yourself.
Permission to nurture yourself.
Permission to do nothing.
Permission to do the bare minimum.

It's so hard in this I find it difficult to just "rest" and that's what I'm using this weekend for.

2020 was nothing but stress and I want 2021 to be nothing but flow in my personal and professional lives.

It's only Feb but I'm feeling burnt out which means it's time to recoup and recover.

Hi loves! I'm alive 🥂

The past 3 weeks have been nuts! Getting back into the swing of things is hard. In December I decided (while salons were closed here in Cali for the 3rd time in the last 12 months) to start my own salon studio. 🎉 So it's been INTENSE to say the least.

Flash forward to this week, I'm feeling like I'm getting into more of a groove and figuring it all out. Setting a routine for myself and my businesses are a top priority but the 1st thing that matters is time with my family.

Today I finally had the time to hang out with them and even had time to plan out new podcast episodes of which will air tomorrow and every week after.

Being a multi-passionate entrepreneur is tough but I do it because I love it. I can't wait to share some of the goodies I have planned!

Can I bring up something a little controversial? ⠀
⠀
I want to chat about boundaries. So often they get a bad rap, and if I’m honest, I have often struggled with every aspect of setting boundaries. I'd always say yes to events, even when I was already burning the candle at both ends. I'd allow others to take advantage of my helpful nature (by saying yes helping them again when I was already overwhelmed) and then I'd end up snapping on the ones I love the most because all it took was one more small request I couldn't handle. ⠀
⠀
But no one can be at their best without putting some real, solid effort into drawing a few lines. Setting boundaries means saying no to things and people when you don't have the capacity. It's not about shutting yourself off from everyone else. It's about loving yourself enough to say, "no" to them, and "yes" to yourself. ⠀

What do you need to say ‘no’ to, to thrive even more? I want to encourage you to do it!

How do you prep for the week ahead? ⠀

If you're like me a few years ago, you're probably thinking, "Eh, I'll figure that out when I get to work on Monday." Sometimes that totally works but what I've found is that if you're working for yourself or starting a side hustle, you have to be your own motivator and manager. So the behaviors that worked in your corporate job won't lead to success (however you define it) in your solo venture/side hustle. ⠀

I'll go first.

I wanted another baby. 🤱

I had always envisioned our little family to be hubs and I & two kiddos. I thought we'd be going to Disneyland and laughing together. All the giggles.

2020 taught me that even with all the best laid plans, things can change in an instant ⏱️

The thought of going through our fertility processes with all of the craziness of COVID just seems overwhelming. My heart still wants another little one but of course I'm scared out of my damn mind.
..for me 2021 is going to be about being authentic and sharing my story along with helpful tips for the Modern Mama ❤️

Just know if you're afraid of your dreams or desires, that's normal. It's all in how we process those feelings and take action after. If that thing you wanted was a new career, I'm here for you, love. I want you to succeed and break through the fear!!!

🌟 You're FU***NG amazing! 🌟

You were put on this Earth to do amazing things so get out there and stop doubting yourself and start doing the damn thing already!

If you're scared, do it anyway.
If you're worried, do it anyway.
If you're nervous, do it anyway.

My job as a Coach is to tell you that you can do hard things. You can leave that job you hate. You can ask that person out. You can finish that degree.

You can have the life you want, you just have to decide today that you'll work for it.

And if you need someone in your corner encouraging you, that's where I come in. We can meet monthly or every other week to make sure that you're hitting those goals and that you're doing all the things that you want to do!
