RCSD Westbrook

What an special morning! Some engineering students from West Park built a buddy bench for Westbrook and they came to dedicate it today. Our students are feeling very special and appreciative! Thank you Isaiah and Nick!!

Westbrook!! We were selected for Stage Connect- Disney Musicals in School!! This is so incredible. We can’t wait to share our first musical with all of you! 🎬

Do you know Alvin from the Roseville- Stanford Ranch Costco? You will usually find him checking receipts and always saying ‘Best day ever!’ He is one of the Costco Reading Buddies that comes to work with our students after school! He is the best and our Costco Buddies are the best!! Thank you!!

Let’s just say, there were a lot of double takes in the Westbrook office today. Some of us took ‘Dress like your teacher’ very seriously and it was so much fun!! Who doesn’t love a bunch of crazy redheads running around and a few lovely blondes too?!?!

We are so excited to announce Westbrook’s Teacher Who Makes a Difference, Kim Hertzberg!! Mrs. Hertzberg does anything and everything for ALL students! Not only does she love the students in her classroom with all her might, she created Reading Mentors, helps with the yearbook and is always willing to do anything that is needed. She always steps up. We are so lucky to have Mrs. Hertzberg at Westbrook.

Miss Sall did it!! She ran 100 miles this weekend and that is something very few people can say they have ever done. And she has done it twice!! What a true Rockstar!! Way to go, Miss Sall! You are an inspiration to all of us!
