Robla School District - Strong Community | Strong Schools | Strong Family There were twelve students.

The modern day Robla School District started out as the Oak Grove School district organized in the early 1890's and opening on August 11, 1896. The local resident station and post office were referred to as Robla and therefore caused confusion for residents and potential home buyers as to where the Oak Grove School District was located. To avoid confusion, the District's name was changed to Robla

We’ve had an incredible two weeks at the Right At School Spring Camp! From "Quest of Legends" adventures to hands-on STEM challenges and creative crafts, our students truly made the most of their break. We are so proud of the teamwork and imagination we saw from every camper!

But the fun doesn't have to end here. ☀️

All throughout the month of March, the Robla School District proudly celebrated Read Across America by sharing the joy of reading with our students and families! Literacy is a foundational pillar in our district, and our classrooms were filled with stories, laughter, and imagination.

Many of our schools welcomed families, community members, and district staff into classrooms to read a book or two with students. These special moments help inspire a lifelong love of reading and learning.

Superintendent Eileen Chen also joined the fun by visiting classrooms to read with students! She even brought some special storybook friends along — The Cat in the Hat and his helpers, Thing One and Thing Two, who helped make the celebrations even more memorable. 🎩

Thank you to everyone who helped make this month of literacy so meaningful for our Robla scholars and families. ❤️

Huge props to our students for playing their hearts out in today’s heat.☀️ It was amazing to see so many families out there supporting our teams!

Special thanks to Sacramento Republic FC & UC Davis Health, through their new initiative; Strive for 45 program, they are working directly with our region's children to promote healthy, sustainable fitness and nutritional habits. We are grateful for their commitment to empowering our students to become advocates for healthy change! ⚽️

We are so excited to unveil the new Buddy Bench at Main Avenue Elementary! This isn’t just a place to sit; it’s a space where kindness grows and no student has to feel alone.

A massive thank you to Senator Angelique Ashby, Councilmember Lisa Kaplan, and Councilmember Dickerson for their generous donation. Your commitment to our students’ well-being and to fostering a culture of inclusion makes a world of difference.

Next time you see someone on the bench, pull up a seat and say hello!

A few weeks ago, our families came together for an inspiring Black History Month Parent Empowerment Dinner celebrating culture, community, and leadership.

We were honored to welcome Dr. Ed Bush, President of Cosumnes River College, as our keynote speaker. Students from across the district shared inspiring poetry; we enjoyed a student choir performance by Taylor Street School; and we recognized students with the Ruby Bridges Courageous Awards.

Thank you to our community partners and leaders, including Maggy Krell, Roberts Family Development Center, Sacramento County Office of Education, and the Grant High Cadets, for helping make the evening so special.

We’re proud to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of Bell Avenue, Taylor Street, and Glenwood School - now home to three brand-new turf soccer fields, decomposed granite walking paths, and outdoor learning spaces designed for play, movement, and hands-on learning! ⚽

These exciting upgrades create vibrant, welcoming spaces for our students, families, and community to learn, stay active, and connect.
