Here’s a painting started as as demo. I managed to take of stages working from large shapes to gradually adding defining the shapes and finishing with the detail. I think I will call it “Missing the Cranes”

A new show is up at ACAI Studios, 7425 Winding Way in Fair Oaks. I have three pieces in the show. The reception will be held on Jan 17th, from 4 to 6 or you can see it during regular gallery hours, Wed - Fri, 1 to 4 and Saturdays, 11 to 3. The show will run through February. 21st.

The reception for Second Changes at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center will be held this Saturday, Sept 10th, from 5 to 7 pm at 5330B Gibbons Dr in Carmichael. This is a fun show to start off the New Year. I am happy to have two pieces in the show, Bee Boxes and Crashin' in II, The show will be up until January 24TH.

Bold Expressions 2025 is up and ready to see at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center. I am proud to have a piece in the show. My favorite placed to paint, William B Pond, was my inspiration for “Spring Flow.” There will be a Second Saturday reception on Oct 11. The show closes October 25.

All Creature Great and Small Show opens at the Elk Grove Fine Art Center on Saturday, October 4 with a reception 4 to 7 pm. My painting “Egret’s Domain” is part of show. The show will run through October 23.

Tonight September 11th, from 6-9 pm is the kick off party for 2025 Sac Open Studios. Enjoy the opening of the artists' Exhibition Preview Show! Meet participating Sac Open Studios artists and supporters, enjoy upbeat jams by a live DJ from Legend Has It, and grab some delicious bites from a local food truck.
