We are proud to share that CCCA earned the “Rookie Team of the Year” Award at the Design Build Competition hosted by the Construction Industry Education Foundation (CIEF).
CCCA students competed alongside more than 1,700 students from across California, Texas, Indiana, and Oregon in this nationally recognized hands-on construction challenge focused on teamwork, creativity, technical skills, and career-connected learning.
Working side by side with industry mentors, students reviewed blueprints, used professional tools, and brought their project to life from the ground up. Through the experience, they developed confidence, leadership skills, and valuable insight into careers within the construction industry.
The shed built by our students will now serve as an additional storage space on campus next to the new building recently added to our school, allowing their hard work to continue supporting the CCCA community long after the competition ended.
