Congratulations 🎉 Jeffrey Robbins
Today, June 7, 2022 a presentation was made at the Faculty meeting -
As most of you know the The MaryAnn Oliver Community Service Scholarship is an award given every year to a student in Jefferson County that exemplifies community service and volunteerism. Many of you knew my amazing mother-in-law MaryAnn❣️
You either knew her because she was the Sackets Sr. Citizen of the year in 2016, volunteered here at school at the PTO several years ago, she was with the red hat society locally, sold pies at the bank for the senior citizens, served on the zoning board for the town, was a member and Auxiliary President at the Legion and Treasurer with Jefferson County of NY - American Legion Auxiliary, promoted the poppy poster contest with the art department here at school, donated heavily to the backpack program as well as scholarships and was even seen here several times for the Veterans Day ceremony prior to her death.
The MAOCCS has never given a certificate or any acknowledgment to a staff member before, but this year we were compelled because so many students included one of your own many times in their applications. This year our committee read over 25 scholarship applications and one person‘s name came up many times. This person is very community minded, believes in the importance of volunteering which exemplifies what the MAOCSS stands for, teaches that it’s important to help others and exhibits great qualities. This person is a mentor to so many students not only in school, but on the field, on the court and in other walks of life. We know him to be a great coach, teacher, friend, husband and father.
Kevin and I are very proud to present This Certificate of appreciation to: Jeff Robbins
