🚒🚨To bring awareness to Fire Safety Month in October, Sabetha Fire Department visited SES to give a safety presentation and overview of a few trucks and some firefighting equipment! A few lucky students even got to operate the sirens and air horn. Thank you to SFD for coming! 🚨🚒

I spoke to the company completing the work on Oregon in front of school and was assured that it wouldn’t interfere with morning drop off or afternoon dismissal. Please use caution if coming or going throughout the day and thank you for your cooperation!

The first September Staff Spotlight is Marilyn Oehm. She serves SES. Here is why she was nominated:

“Mrs. Oehm is truly amazing. She is so compassionate toward every student and genuinely wants each one to succeed. I love that every child walks into her classroom like a blank slate—she meets them where they are and pours so much into helping them grow. You can tell she truly cares about the whole child, not just the student.”

PTO will deliver your gift card. Thanks for all you do Marilyn!
