Guys!! I got to meet Dr Jenevora Williams today and it was amazing 🎉. Dr Williams is one of the top experts on developing children's voices and quite literally "wrote the book" on teaching kids and young adults to sing. Thanks so much to Nikki and The Full Voice Music for hosting the webinar, it was wonderful content and the Q+A was so appreciated!

What a fabulous weekend performing with the Freeport Community Player's 18th Radio Hour Show! The cast was fantastic and I loved working with the vocalists to perform some of the best songs from the 40s-70s. The band included friends new and old whom I was honored to play with. A huge thank you to our director Alicia and producer Judy for inviting me along as a music director. What a ride!

Singers! I'm directing music for this year's radio program with the Freeport Players. Come audition this weekend and make music with me 🤩

Auditions for RADIO! WFCP will be going “On the Air” (really live on stage at FPAC) in early December. Directors are Alicia Ouellette Belmore for sketches, and Alyssa Hawkins for music. The show is set in 1940s-1970s. Music and comedy of the era. Auditions for sketch roles and for music, and NEW this year, auditions for SOUND EFFECTS CREATORS, will be at Freeport High School music rooms (Chorus and Band Rooms–use back door opposite tennis courts) on:
Sunday, October 6 at 2 pm
Monday, October 7 at 6 pm
Actors will be asked to read sides from the sketches, in groups along with other actors. Sound effects creators will be asked to make noises with our items as the sketches are performed.

Singers, please bring sheet music for your song and Alyssa will play your music on the piano, or you can bring electronic back-up music if you prefer. These auditions will be individual, with the music director.
Performances are December 6-8, and rehearsals happen in October and November. If you can’t make it to an audition, but want to be in the show, or have other questions, please contact Producer Judy Lloyd at [email protected].
