Rakshabandhan acknowledges the lifelong affection, mutual dependence, and responsibilities shared between siblings and cousins. Traditionally a sister ties a sacred amulet or threaded bracelet, called a rakhi, around her brother’s wrist. Celebrations now include siblings exchanging rakhis

There will be Flag hoisting, doing a service activity of making cards and enjoying a potluck brunch

Please bring any vegetarian dish for the brunch ( eg idli, dhokla, sandwich etc). We’ll provide tea .

Do you love working with children and want to make a meaningful impact by passing on Indian language and culture to the next generation?

Kulture Kool is looking for passionate Guru Kool teachers to join our growing team.

Minimum Requirements (Please apply only if you meet all of the following):

• Available to work evenings and weekends
• Willing to travel to teaching locations across Hudson, Bergen, and Essex Counties
• Fluent in both Hindi and English
• Experience working with children and genuinely enjoys teaching them

Script to Screen camp with Arjun Athalye and Nicholas Matos

Campers got to learn about films from start to end in this camp with lots of new concepts and their own movies! And at the end of the week we had Kulture Kool’s first film festival with families attending and seeing the kids on screen!

Field day Friday was a very interesting and super fun day with Team Makers
Lots of learning and sending up rockets and other hands on activity!

Guru Purnima is celebrated to honor spiritual and academic teachers, express gratitude for their wisdom, and mark the birthday of the great sage Vyasa. The word “Guru” means the dispeller of darkness or ignorance.

Wishing all of our teachers who pass on not only knowledge, but the ability to create a better future, a Very Happy Guru Purnima 🙏🏽
