on Legacy Garden
Hey there, RHS Class of ‘93 Members! We wanted to provide our class as well as those who have supported this endeavor with an update on where we stand with our campaign to create the RHS Legacy Garden.
To date, we've received orders for thirty-seven (37) bricks; our project plans are to incorporate a minimum of 150. So, needless to say, we remain less than 1/3 of the way.
While this is a bit disheartening, we suppose, we want to also explain that we began this project with the realization that it would likely take a bit of time for it to fully come to pass - and that was without factoring in COVID-19, and our inability to market to the local schools in person.
But, we stand together - encouraged, faithful, and confident.
We have been completely OVERWHELMED by the generosity and excitement we have received from our peers, and also from other alumni.
Our community, our school - the place where we were taught, inspired, and learned to lead together - has embraced this opportunity, and as a committee, we are dedicated to see this come to fruition not just for the Class of 93, but to be a place of gathering for future alumni. A location where fellow graduates can reflect, and remember and a place of rest for future generations to ponder how they, too, will leave their mark.
Please do what you can to help us reach our goal! At this point, our campaign will now be open-ended until we sell the needed bricks.
