Our 1st year Cosmetology students received a demonstration from their instructor, Mrs. Turner, on how to properly curl hair using a barrel curling iron. Students learned proper step-by-step techniques including conducting a temperature check and working with different hair lengths.

It’s all about mastering the fundamentals and building confidence one curl at a time!

Our Home Health/Nurse Aide students took their test review to the next level with a fun and interactive Jeopardy game! The game helped students review key concepts and prepare for their upcoming unit test with categories including policy & procedures, care team, and vocabulary. A little friendly competition made reviewing engaging while reinforcing important information.

’Twas the day before school and all through the place,
Excitement was growing with smiles on each face!
The tools were all ready, the classrooms were bright,
Tomorrow learning is ready to take flight!

In Culinary Arts, we’ll cook up some fun,
Creating delicious dishes one by one!
Computer Networking & Digital Literacy are ready to go,
Building tech skills that will help students grow!

Cosmetology will style with flair,
And Nurse Aide will show how they care!
Manufacturing will build, create, and design,
While Automotive Technology will keep cars running just fine!

Auto Body Repair will restore cars with pride,
And Electricity will have power on their side!
So grab your backpack as we get ready to say,
"Welcome back, students" because it's almost the first day!

August 12th is the date so don’t be late,
A brand new year of learning awaits,
At Campbell County Technical Center, we’re ready to start.
To guide, teach, and inspire with heart!

Parents may view schedules through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, and students may access them through the Student Portal.

Questions about a student’s schedule should be directed to the student’s school.

Please join us in welcoming Michael Holmes, our new Electricity Instructor, to Campbell County Technical Center!

With over 35 years of experience in the residential, commercial, and industrial electrical construction and industry fields throughout Virginia, Mr. Holmes brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to the classroom.

He holds a Master Electrician License and a Class C Contractor License through VDPOR (Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation) and is a certified NCCER (National Center for Construction Education & Research) Instructor. Mr. Holmes is passionate about the electrical trade and is eager to share his decades of experience to help students develop the skills & knowledge needed for a career in the electrical industry.
