As I sit here, in our peaceful daycare, preparing for the week ahead after our long holiday weekend, I was just hit with the realization of how different tomorrow is going to be. It seems we get to say hello to new friends way more often than saying goodbye to friends, so it's hard knowing if we're doing it right. 😅 But on Friday, we said see ya later to a kiddo. She is very excited for the summer adventures with her Mom and everything the school year is going to bring! Evva, you are going to be missed! We will forget you're gone at counting times for a while, and we will remember you when the kids are belly laughing at the ridiculous jokes they tell each other! We are so happy we got to know you and have a hand in this last year of your life. Evva, don't let the work dull your sparkle or shadow your shine! You are such a glowing little girl and I hope you never lose your curiosity and always have the courage to keep asking questions!

Don't let the fact that these are just getting delivered fool you, our Chief means the world to us! He was just out to inspect us in May, so he was fresh on the kids' minds when his accident happened. We have had daily, sometimes multiple times, talks about how he is doing and when he will come visit again! They are ready for the news that he is well enough to come out!! 💞

I don't post enough, but here I am 🤗
The kids have hit the learning activities full force over the last 3 weeks! We started at Y because that's where Preschool was and I didn't want to confuse the older kiddos! I have used as many different tools as I can to help them really grasp what we're doing. I know their favorites are the edible ones 😅 They patiently do the activities all week in anticipation of the treat tools. Besides the obvious teachings, I am extremely impressed with the increase in focus time! A couple of the kids were only able to truly focus on the task for roughly 5 min the first week and today we were all able to get 25 min in before anyone trickled out!!
I hope you all enjoy these as much as I do!!

We are a singing, dancing group of fools at least once a day! These kids love all kinds of music, spanning from *NSYNC to Baby Shark to Walk the Moon to Encanto. We give them a good variety of music education 🥰 but THIS. Kye is the ring leader and NEEDS everyone to participate in music time. Ignore the obnoxious laugh, but watch Kye make CoCo FEEL the music!! 🤣🤣

We snuck in a last picture of the year earlier this month, also the last picture before our sweet new addition was born 😍 We feel so grateful to each of our kiddos parents for letting us care for them, help teach them, shape them and have fun with them. We are blessed with a great group, yes even on the hard days, because we wouldn't trade this job for anything. ❤️ Here's to gaining a little in 2022, we can't wait to continue on with our favorite rowdy babes 🤘🏻😊
