Here’s the coolest part of athletics for me: learning LIFE skills.

I am the person I am today because of a few things but one huge part is sports.

I learned at a young age to work hard, win with humility, lose with grace and be a good human.

Sports literally taught me HOW to be a good person. How to work hard, fight for the win, and also celebrate the sheer athleticism that was on the court both playing with and against me.

As an adult and parent now, I see how important sportsmanship is. I want nothing more than for every single athlete I coach or some in contact with to become an amazing, functioning member of society.

When we, as adults, exhibit bad sportsmanship in the athletic ring, we rub off on our children.

Our children begin to believe it is ok to belittle, criticize and curse at others.

But, when we fight for what is right and see athletics for what they are (an opportunity for growth), we set our children up for success.

Sports have ability to teach us so much about life, if we let them be what they are: an opportunity for growth.

Teach us all how to be humble in the victory and in the defeat.

“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.” James 4:10

When I found out he was a boy, my heart absolutely jumped for joy.

He’s cares so big and loves even more. He legit never whines I ask him to do a chore.

He’s different than my girls, obviously so. It’s been such a gift to watch him change and grow.

I pray he never gives up on his dreams, even when things go awry, or so it seems.

I pray he trusts God’s plan and guidance at every turn; I pray he never stops wanting to learn.

He’s six now and loves to help his mom and dad, a happier boy to do work could not be had.

Whether it’s picking up sticks, washing dishes or folding clothes, there is not a chore in our home that he loathes.

I wish I could bottle up his little spirit and keep it forever, a sweet simple soul that I’m always going to treasure.

Thank you God, for this boy—so kind and so free. He’s one of the greatest gifts you’ve given to me.

This shifted my heart in a way I didn’t expect.
Because waiting doesn’t mean being forgotten.
Waiting doesn’t mean God is silent, slow, or distant.
Waiting means He’s working, often deeper than we can see.

So while I wait, I choose to serve. I choose to stay faithful when answers haven’t come yet. I choose obedience when the outcome is unclear. I choose love when it would be easier to withdraw.

The Bible never calls us to sit still in discouragement—it calls us to wait on the Lord, and waiting on Him has always been active. It’s trusting Him enough to keep showing up, to keep praying, to keep loving, to keep serving even when the promise feels delayed.

Maybe the delay isn’t punishment. Maybe it’s preparation. Maybe God is shaping our character before He hands us the calling.

Serving in the waiting season keeps our hearts soft, our faith alive, and our eyes fixed on Him—not on the clock. And when the door finally opens, we won’t just be ready to receive… we’ll be ready to steward it well.
If you’re in a waiting season today, don’t lose heart.

God sees your faithfulness.
He honors obedience.
And He never wastes a season of surrender.
Your waiting is holy, and your breakthrough will come in His perfect time. 🤍🙏🏻

My clients aren’t just clients—they’re my people.
Walking with them has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

I’ve been quiet for a while.
God is asking me to step forward again—even here, with prayer and boundaries.

I don’t love marketing myself, but I love obedience more.
Coaching spots are opening.

Faith requires action.

Some little girls have puppies or horses to love. But when I was little I was different, sort of.

I’ve never been much to cuddle a kitten. With a cute little bunny I’ve never been smitten.

No my comfort place, my favorite to be…has always been with cows; it’s where I feel free.

It started at a very young age, and age I can’t even remember. My love for these animals like a small, burning ember.

I’ve always found peace in their presence you see, watching them graze or rest by a tree.

There’s always been something about cows, that brings me a peace this world hardly ever allow.

There’s no rush, no fuss, no tension around. Just me and my cows and the beautiful Kansas ground.

For the little girl who’s always marched to her own drum, cows will always remind her where she came from.

There was a time in my life when it all felt like too much. Where happiness and joy felt too distant to touch.

I questioned my purpose and God’s plan every day, and I didn’t take the time to show up and pray.

He kept me going, He kept me here. With God at the lead, I overcame my fear.

My hope to not wake isn’t real anymore, in fact…I know that God’s already won this war.

If you’re struggling in silence and question His will, I promise He’s working if you’ll simply be still.

There’s no force on earth that can separate you from Him. With God at the center, the stars never go dim.

I used to think aging was just another thing; I never really cared what a birthday would bring.

As I’ve grown older though,
Mostly in my thirties…I’ve realized that I’m constantly showered with God’s mercies.

I spent year 33 thinking a lot about me; something I don’t love but admittedly see.

For year 34 I’m praying for more. But not what you think, not what this world would ask for.

I’m praying I let God take the lead, in every moment and every day indeed.

I pray that I can die to myself more every day; a prayer that I will constantly pray.

Lord help me show up as a present mom and wife; my little family is my biggest blessing in this life.

Help me bless those around me and do it with joy, a job that I will willingly employ.

I pray for my 34th birthday to see all God’s beauty under the sun, and keep focused fully that Thy will be done.

I’ve never liked this chore.
In fact, I found it to be quite a bore.

And to do it on vacation? Well, it would’ve conjured nothing but frustration.

But bringing prayer into this task has made it feel like such a modest ask.

I find that when I praise God while I fold it all, I’m leaning into my life’s call.

The frustration goes away, and I show up much more present in my day.

All because I finally figured out that bringing God into everything is truly quite a blessing.
