Many of you may ask yourself what is the MCA-I? Well my friend it’s a group of digital media professionals who provide the content for and the delivery of media communications to business, entertainment, and other end user around the world; companies that employ or commission their goods and services; suppliers to the industries they serve; educators and students.
Today the MCA-I is a global community with chapters across the United States and affiliates in several countries worldwide. MCA-I helps media professionals find what they need, when and where they need it.
MCA-I is a great organization for young people just starting out in this exciting and growing industry. Students can mingle with working professionals, make valuable contacts and learn first hand about real-world skills necessary for success.
The Detroit Chapter is very active holding regular monthly networking and professional development meetings and events. The meetings are held around the county at various production and multimedia facilities. This is the chance for your students to come to our events and meet professionals, employers, search out internships, co-op's, and find a mentor in the craft of there interest.
