Good morning lovelies and happy Tuesday! I’m back and fully recharged for what life may bring. I decided to take a much needed staycation to focus on my family as well as myself over the past year. I have come to realize that taking care of yourself is just as if not more important (in some cases) as caring for loved ones or those around you. You know how they always say “when flying always put the oxygen mask on yourself before you place it on anyone else”. It’s SO TRUE! You can’t accurately take care of others if you aren’t cared for. So, that being said, I got myself in order mentally, physically and emotionally to the best of my ability. For me, taking care of myself means getting my hair cut and dyed, putting on makeup some mornings to feel that extra beauty or just to have some fun, doing face masks or even just washing my face every night. I noticed once I started taking care of myself, everything else in my life started to fall into place. Taking care of little ones can be hard sometimes. Don’t get me wrong; I absolutely love every second of it (the good , the bad and the ugly). But there are times that I know I need some extra “me” time. Sitting and reading a good book for just a half hour, listening to some music, taking a little extra time in the shower, sitting in the quiet after the kids have gone to bed and being able to meditate. All these things have seriously helped me over the course of a year. I am so thankful that I am blessed with my husband. He has been helping take such good care of me through thick and thin. So now it’s my turn to pass on the knowledge and know how I have acquired on how to get through life (especially with little ones). This group will be from now on all about self care and ways that I have found to help myself or tips and tricks I found help with my family. You will get the full “Jessica’s life” experience and roller coaster. All the ups and downs and how I am managing those one day at a time. I would love to have you join me on this fun roller coaster life has brought every day among other surprises along the way. Love you guys! Have a blessed day!
