Congratulations to 8th grade student, Michael Roberts for earning a place in the Central District Middle School Honor Band. He completed a difficult audition and was the only band student in Person County to make the band. He competed against students in our surrounding counties to earn his spot. Congratulations, Michael!

Yesterday, our middle school yearbook staff hosted a wonderful Yearbook Signing Party during 4th period. Students from all grade levels gathered on the field to celebrate the end of the school year, share memories, and have their yearbooks signed by friends and teachers.
A huge job well done to our yearbook staff and Ms. Albachten for all of their hard work in creating this year’s yearbook and organizing such a special event for our students. These are the moments and memories that make middle school so meaningful!

Congratulations to the 2026–2027 RCS Student Ambassadors! We are so excited to welcome this incredible group of student leaders. We look forward to watching you grow, serve, and proudly represent our school community. Bulldog Nation is lucky to have you!

A group of Middle School students paid a heartfelt tribute to Mrs. Jennifer Carter as she entered her classroom, marking a significant milestone in her career. Mrs. Carter will be retiring this year. She will be deeply missed. She has been an invaluable asset to RCS!
