✨ 𝗡𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝗧𝗪! ✨

Hey stampin’ friends! 🎄💗 I couldn’t just stop at one card from the new Sizzix x Catherine Pooler 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 & 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 so today I’m sharing my absolute favorite!

This whimsical ice skate card has such a fun and unexpected color combo! I LOVE how it turned out! 🩷💛🩵

One of the techniques I’m sharing is 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 with the 𝗢𝗻 𝗜𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘀. Instead of cutting the skate as one piece, I used separate die-cut pieces to create:

🤍 White boot
🩷 Pink laces
🩵 Light blue sole
✨ Silver blade

Then I layered everything with foam dots for that extra dimensional pop!

The sentiment is from the 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗦𝗲𝘁 — “𝙎𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄𝙣 𝘼 𝙒𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙒𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙” — stamped in red ink.

And did I mention that 𝘆𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿?! 💛 Add in the red and green poinsettia tucked into the corner and this card is definitely proving that holiday cards don’t have to stick to traditional colors!

✨ Rainbow die-cut lettering doesn't have to be complicated! 🌈✨

Want colorful, perfectly cut letters without the hassle of lining up tiny pieces? The secret is the 𝗢𝗵 𝗦𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘀 from the Sizzix x Catherine Pooler collection. Each letter is cut cleanly and individually, making it easy to create bright and festive designs in no time.

🎄 Here's how I made this "𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁" card in less than 20 minutes:

❄️ Stamp a soft snowflake background using the 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗦𝗲𝘁 with a light blue ink.

🌈 Die cut the letters with the 𝗢𝗵 𝗦𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘀 from colorful scraps of cardstock—pink, yellow, blue, green and red.

✨ Arrange the letters on your background and finish with the 𝗗𝗼𝘁𝘀 & 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘀 for a pretty scalloped frame.

And that's it! 💕 No fussy cutting. No tiny pieces to trim. Just fun, colorful holiday craftiness that’s quick, easy and full of festive cheer.

With the new Sizzix x Catherine Pooler collection, I wanted to take a break from the traditional holiday color palette and design with pink and green instead. And honestly? I love how fresh and festive it turned out!

Sometimes it can be fun to break the Christmas color rules and do something unexpected. 🎨✨

🎄✨ The new Sizzix x Catherine Pooler 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 & 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 is now live and I am obsessed! ❤️

I made this colorful stocking card using the 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 & 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹 (seriously… it’s a game-changer! 🙌) and the 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘀 and coordinating stamp set.

This festive card was so quick to make with only 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀, a few white scallop circles, and about 𝟮𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀. And I love how bright and cheerful it is! 💕

This time I didn’t use the traditional Christmas colors and went with 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗸, 𝘆𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄, 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻, 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗱. I think the playful color palette makes the design even more fun!

✨ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲… 𝗜 𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱.

When the Brass & Bliss Craft Co team sent me the new 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 I looked at those 5×7 products and immediately thought "𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙄'𝙢 𝙖𝙣 𝘼2 𝙜𝙞𝙧𝙡..." 😅

I’ve been making A2 cards for 𝟭𝟵 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 now. It's comfortable. It's familiar. It’s my happy place.

Then I remembered something I always say to my Stamping Family:

💙 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘇𝗼𝗻𝗲.

So I took a deep breath and cut a 5x7 piece of cardstock and grabbed my Sizzix machine to cut 3 sizes of Nested Stitched Rectangle dies that had been patiently waiting on my desk for weeks! I gave myself permission to create without a plan.

And guess what?

This white on white snowflake card might be one of my favorite things I’ve made this year. 🤍❄️

The bigger 5×7 size allows the design room to breathe. The stitched frames in layers add such a lovely dimension and that soft blue from Catherine Pooler for the sentiment is the perfect finishing touch.

It’s amazing how often our favorite projects start with a simple question:

"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗜 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁?"
