✨I couldn't even make this up✨
This week's been a bit challenging already (I know it's only Tuesday 😅) but if you know me, you know I also love a little sign from the universe that I am going in the right direction 🥰
On Sunday, I wasn't sure if I should commit to a weekly bowling league with my partner. We don't do a lot together but running a business and being a mom and wife is a lot 😅 committing to something else, just felt like another thing on the to do list for the week, but we decided to do it anyways. I work A LOT and need to remind myself that I need down time too to relax and have fun. Well, I have to say we couldn't have gotten paired with a better set of teammates! 🥹🥰 Our teammates are a special needs adult who enjoys telling us about his job, his games, AND his Egypt sagas and our other teammate is his grandfather who is a great bowler!! (If you know me on a personal level, Egypt is my fun topic that I can talk about forever☺️) I knew immediately we would be friends when I saw the cutest Egyptian characters sitting on the table. Needless to say, now I am so excited to go to bowling every week! 🥰
Today, I got another sign when I went to the Round Rock Serving Center for their orientation before volunteering there. I plan to take students to volunteer weekly and this is required before that can happen. They had a class today, and I knew I have new students joining next week, so today is the day to knock this out. I went in and again, the universe surprised me with my previous (already graduated) student being there too!!! Ahhhh!!! Not just any student, but one of the first students that I actually volunteered at this very location with when I first began teaching in Texas!! My mind was blown, but I KNEW I was meant to be there. 💓
When days are hard, and I just am not sure what I am doing with my life, trying to juggle all these things, I get these signs, and know I am on the right path. I know any struggle will be worth it at some point and spending my days with my students absolutely makes my heart SO happy! 🥰 At the end of the day, no matter how challenging this journey is, I will keep going for these kids 💓✨
