Easterseals North Georgia, Inc. Providing services and programs for children with disabilities and low-income families That's why ESNG exists. Families thank us every day.

Easterseals North Georgia (ESNG) has dedicated itself to improving the lives of children and families with disabilities and other special needs in Georgia for 70 years. Our mission is to strengthen the health and development of children with and without disabilities, their families, and the greater community with one vision in mind; a world where there is 100% equity, inclusion, and access for all

children. We do this by providing early intervention, inclusive high-quality early education, family support, emergency resources, and local and statewide advocacy. We believe that through these comprehensive approaches we are empowering children, their families, and the community to thrive. We believe that every child is born with unlimited potential but it is critical that they have opportunities to nurture their gifts in an environment that responds to their specific needs if they are going to actualize their abilities to their full capacity. The very heart of our work is to build a more inclusive world, one that ensures all children no matter their ability, ethnicity, income, gender, or background are welcomed and provided with every opportunity to succeed. We are dedicated to ensuring that they receive the support necessary to participate fully in life. To be 100% empowered, 100% included, and 100% capable of realizing their dreams. Recent research confirms that the first five years of a child’s life are particularly important for the development of the brain, and the first three years are the most critical in shaping the child’s brain architecture. These early years are the foundation that shapes children’s future health, happiness, growth, development, and learning achievement while at school, within the family, and as part of the community. We provide early education and early intervention services to over 5,000 children from birth to age five living in Metro Atlanta and North East Georgia. We also provide support services to their families, helping them reach their goals, become more self-sufficient, and an even stronger support for their child, no matter their income or ability. Our history of using evidence-based programs has helped us achieve positive outcomes for children and families. Integrated teams of therapists, teachers, and other health professionals help each child overcome obstacles to independence and prepare them for the next phase in their life. And every day we thank our families and children for the privilege of caring for them, teaching, and supporting them.

Today we celebrate Juneteenth!
Observed on June 19th, Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. It serves as a powerful reminder of our nation's history and the ongoing pursuit of equity, opportunity, and justice for all.
At Easterseals North Georgia, we believe it is never too early to teach children about kindness, inclusion, culture, and the importance of celebrating the diverse stories that make our communities strong. Our kiddos are honoring Juneteenth through learning, reflection, and joy.
❤️🖤💚 Happy Juneteenth! ❤️🖤💚

One of the best things about living in a community is knowing the people who make it work.

They're the teachers who inspire the next generation, the first responders who answer the call when it matters most, the coaches who build confidence, the pastors who bring people together, the healthcare workers who care for their neighbors, and so many others who quietly serve their communities every day.

That's why we love the idea behind Founding Citizens Camp in Royston. The program gives young people the opportunity to meet these community builders, learn how their town functions, and see firsthand what it takes to keep a community strong. From local government and public safety to schools, healthcare, and service organizations, students are getting an education that extends far beyond the classroom.

We especially appreciate that the program encourages students to think about how we support the families we serve. The strongest communities are the ones where people look out for one another and where everyone has the opportunity to belong and contribute.

What an incredible opportunity for these students and a wonderful investment in the future of Franklin County.

THANK YOU to our amazing friends from Deloitte for spending the day with us at our Mansell Early Education and Care Center as part of their Day of Impact! 💚

This incredible team went above and beyond, helping with a beautification project that included planting flowers and vegetables in our garden, refurbishing our sandbox, touching up picnic tables and benches, assembling much-needed items, and spending quality time reading and building kites with our kiddos.

Your hard work, generosity, and enthusiasm made a lasting impact on our center and brought so much joy to the children we serve. We are truly grateful for your partnership and commitment to giving back to the community. Thank you, Deloitte, for making a difference and helping our center shine! 🌼🌱🪁 Deloitte

Congratulations to Robert Gwaltney and Jeff Randa on their graduation from Georgia's 2Gen Academy!

The 2Gen Academy is a year-long, multi-agency leadership program, a collaboration between the Georgia Children’s Cabinet and the UGA Carl Vinson Institute of Government. Graduates are equipped with strategies to support the whole family by addressing the needs of both children and the adults in their lives. Through collaboration, innovation, and a focus on family well-being, participants develop solutions that help create lasting, multigenerational impact.

Yesterday, Robert and Jeff joined fellow graduates in presenting their capstone projects. Please join us in congratulating Robert and Jeff on this outstanding achievement!
