We love our friends with Down Syndrome and are thankful for all they bring to our church family. We celebrate them especially this month but every day!

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, so there’s no better time to highlight the amazing opportunity to work with special needs kids in our very own kids ministry! God continues to bless fellowshipKids in this area and, as he does, our need for volunteers grows as well. If you’re willing to serve, we’d love to have you! School Choices Panel with Pastor Bob Roland March 12
As a parent, do you have questions about what school choice is best for your children? Come and hear experienced parents share their perspectives on school options, including public, home school, private, and blended academic options. Pastor Bob Roland will guide this discussion to help sort out school options in our community. Parents can attend the panel in room 206 on March 12 at 9:15 am!

It's week 2 of the Bible Reading Plan--Job 40-42. One of my favorite verses in this section is Job 42:2 "I know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted." Don't forget to memorize Hebrews 11:6

This week's reading for kids is Genesis chapters 1 and 2. The memory verse is Genesis 1:27. Join us as we read through the Bible in 2017.

From Carol Romashko (one of our teachers): A truly special day at church where I took my class of 4 year olds through the new middle and high school auditorium. We were greeted by Elijah, who was in my class in the 5th grade when we started the "what if" program. Each week in class we would collect money for the program and pray for the building. I think that is one big reason why it was so meaningful that Elijah came to greet me like he owned the place and took us around on the tour...and here he was telling the 4 year olds all about the building which was so precious, to see him speaking to them. God is good!

Faith at Home Parenting Workshop: Sundays Oct. 2, 9 &16. Join Family Ministry Pastor Bob Roland in room 116 at 9:15 am for this three week series that will provide a Biblical framework for teaching our children faith at home.
