TECHNOLOGY - Learn to make a video of your family. It would make a Great Holiday present that would be loved by all. This class will take you step-by-step in how to make a video using Powerpoint. It will touch on picture selections, shape of pictures, animation on picture entrance, time of slide viewing, time of picture viewing, time of video, colors of text and boxes, and adding music to the audio. A very worthwhile project. Taught by Roswell Adult Learning Center at RARC. 2 day class - Oct 21st & Oct 23rd. $20. The Roswell Adult Learning Center offers technology focused classes in the computer room at the Adult Recreation Center (ARC) in Roswell Recreation and Park's Grimes Bridge Park, located at 830 Grimes Bridge Road. All classes are taught by seniors and the intended audience is other seniors. Most classes are one-day (two hours) but longer topics are also offered.
From Computer Basics to the various functions of Word and Excel; Cloud based topics and software; Some internet functions; and even iPads - a variety of topics are available each Fall, Winter, and Spring. More information can be found online at www.roswellalc.org or through printed materials available at the ARC. Come join us!
