🍩 ✨The Countdown is ON! ✨🍩

We have THREE more weeks until our first MAP event of the school year! Take a screenshot of the QR code and RSVP by September 22nd!

📝 Here’s what to expect:
• Doors open at 7 am

• At 7:15 am we will have a meeting in the Art Room! During this time you’ll receive your child’s MAP score packet! This will include their scores, along with a fun activity for you to complete at home with them!

• During the meeting our academic coach and teachers will go more into detail about how you can read and understand your students MAP scores, along with giving helpful information about ways you can assist at home with your students academics!

• Can’t make it to 7:15 am? That’s okay! Our academic coach and teachers will still be available to talk once we move our event into the Media Center from 7:45 am to 8:30 am!

• Make sure you stay to browse the book fair, enjoy a donut, and do a fun reading activity with your student!

¡Tenemos TRES semanas más hasta nuestro primer evento MAP del año escolar! ¡Haz una captura de pantalla del código QR y confirma tu asistencia antes del 22 de septiembre!

📝 Esto es lo que se puede esperar:

• ¿No puedes llegar a las 7:15 a. m.? ¡Está bien! ¡Nuestro entrenador académico y profesores seguirán estando disponibles para hablar una vez que traslademos nuestro evento al Centro de Medios de 7:45 a.m. a 8:30 a.m.!

• ¡Asegúrate de quedarte para navegar por la feria del libro, disfrutar de un donut y hacer una actividad de lectura divertida con tu estudiante!

🍂 Happy September from the RMS Family Resource Center! We have some exciting events coming up in the next few months - don’t miss out!

🍩 Tuesday September 29th from 7 AM - 8:30 AM is our Fall MAP Event - America Runs on Reading! Meet with a grade level representative to talk about understanding your students MAP score, then come browse the book fair and enjoy a donut or little Debbie! Grade level meetings will begin at 7:15 AM and teachers will be available to answer questions once the meeting is over in case you can’t make it at that time!

🦒 Attendance and participation at our America Runs on Reading Event enters your family into a chance to win four FREE tickets to that Chattanooga Zoo!

🚌 RMS is taking the F.A.CE. Bus to the American Legion Fall festival on Saturday, October 24th from 2 PM to 4 PM! Come by and see us, grab a free book, enjoy a moon pie, and do a fun gratitude activity! We will be giving away 10 Chick-Fila-A gift cards!

🍩 We are so excited to have our first MAP data event of the year on Tuesday, September 29th @ Rossville Middle School!

✨ This year you will have the chance to hear a presentation from a grade level representation who will explain how to read and understand your child’s MAP scores! This informative meeting will begin at 7:15 am! Afterwards, come over to the library to browse the book fair and enjoy a light breakfast with your student!

🦒 Attendance will enter each family into a drawing for four FREE tickets to the Chattanooga Zoo! Bonus entries will be given when you fill out a feed back form and return it before you leave!

We can’t wait to see you and your student there!
