This is my connection to Nazareth Hall, and my reasons for taking up this major project. I am a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis at The Saint Paul Seminary-School of Divinity in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I have a great joy for learning about the rich history of the Archdiocese I am preparing to serve, and would like to have that history preserved for future generations. Th

e second motivation is that in my endeavors to learn more about this historic institution, I have discovered that there has been no collective history written, on any level, even though the institution has been closed for 46 years. This institution was a major part of Catholicism in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul-Minneapolis, Minnesota and the Upper Midwest for 48 years (1923-1971), and thus should be preserved and recorded. Nazareth Hall Preparatory Seminary Alumni!
CALLING ALL NAZARETH HALL ALUMNI!!! I am working on compiling a collective history of the Nazareth Hall Catholic Seminary, now known as Northwestern. This is a project that has not yet been done and I would like your help! I would love to sit down with you to hear your stories, about your time at Nazareth Hall, the classes, the priests, the activities, the community life, and more. I am also looking for personal pictures and “memorabilia”. If you would be willing to spend some time to be interviewed, or would just like to send a written testimony, picture or tidbit, or if you simply have a question please contact me via my project’s email address: [email protected].
