What an emotional few days. ❤️
The goodbyes started last weekend and continued Friday before we officially started our trip to Tennessee. We stopped in Chicago for one last evening with friends, lots of hugs and a few tears.
We made it to Dayton a day before move-in, which gave us one extra day to relax and just be together. Tennessee welcomed us with quite the heat wave — 96°F, feeling like 105°F! 🥵 Somehow we still managed a short hike and then cooled off in Big Soddy Creek. Definitely needed!
Then came move-in day at Bryan College. We unpacked the dorm, went through all the activities and stayed on campus until about 4pm. Then came the hardest part — the final goodbye.
I won’t lie, we all cried. It’s hard to leave your girl behind, but I’m also so excited for this new chapter and everything ahead of her.
And just like that… our Megan is officially a college student. ❤️
