🎉🎓 SHE GOT ACCEPTED!!! ❤️

Today Melissa received her acceptance letter from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio! And yes, there were tears of joy! 🥹❤️

With an acceptance rate of around 58% and a competitive pre-nursing program, this is such exciting news!

Even better, many of her dual enrollment classes from other universities will transfer to Franciscan!

As a homeschooling mom, I couldn't be happier! ❤️ All those years of hard work are paying off!

We are incredibly proud of you, Melissa! ❤️ Keep working hard, following your dreams, and trusting God's plan for your future.

One step closer to becoming a nurse! 🩺❤️

What an emotional few days. ❤️

The goodbyes started last weekend and continued Friday before we officially started our trip to Tennessee. We stopped in Chicago for one last evening with friends, lots of hugs and a few tears.

We made it to Dayton a day before move-in, which gave us one extra day to relax and just be together. Tennessee welcomed us with quite the heat wave — 96°F, feeling like 105°F! 🥵 Somehow we still managed a short hike and then cooled off in Big Soddy Creek. Definitely needed!

Then came move-in day at Bryan College. We unpacked the dorm, went through all the activities and stayed on campus until about 4pm. Then came the hardest part — the final goodbye.

I won’t lie, we all cried. It’s hard to leave your girl behind, but I’m also so excited for this new chapter and everything ahead of her.

And just like that… our Megan is officially a college student. ❤️

What a wonderful way to end our school year!

Last night was our 2026 Homeschool Prom, and the kids danced almost the entire night. There were sweet treats, lots of laughter, great music, and time spent with friends. The country theme was a big success, and everyone looked amazing.

We are so thankful for the memories made, the friendships shared, and the wonderful homeschool community that made this night possible.

Megan did it! Our girl officially graduated from high school, and we couldn’t be prouder. All the years of hard work, dedication, and so many experiences—from music and sports to leadership and academics—led us to this moment. It’s hard to believe she’s off to college in the fall, but we’re beyond excited for her next chapter.

To everyone who celebrated with us and supported us along the way—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We love you, Megan! You did it!

Sweet 16 for Melissa 💕

Our sweet little girl… not so little anymore.

She started her day early with her driver’s test—and passed! So yes, we officially have a new driver in the house

Breakfast with Grandma in the morning, and a special dinner with both grandparents in the evening ❤️

Watching her grow into this amazing young lady is the greatest gift. So proud of you, Melissa.
