Annual Josh Lavalle Memorial Scholarship Event Thanks to you, over $62,000 has been raised & donated in memory of Josh. All are local & played a meaningful part in Josh’s life.

Recipients are Mounds View Irondale Youth Hockey Assoc., Wishes & More, Pinky Swear, and Mounds View HS graduating seniors. Each year, friends, family and the surrounding community host a memorial tournament and fundraiser in Josh's honor. Past years have been kickball tournaments, but 2020 marks the first bocce ball tournament. Come for a chance at some great items, play on a team to test your sk

ills for 1st place and join in the festivities with the community. The Josh Lavalle Memorial Fund aims to honor Josh's legacy by reducing financial barriers associated with youth athletics, higher education, and childhood illnesses through scholarships/donations.

Thank you to everyone who attended the 11th Annual Josh Lavalle Scholarship Benefit & Bocce Ball Tournament yesterday—or supported it in any way. It was a truly successful and joyful event. Josh would have been deeply touched to see such a meaningful tournament held in his honor. I was relieved the weather was absolutely perfect, despite a week of rainy forecasts!

A special thanks to my family and extended family, who worked tirelessly to plan and set up this event. It would never have come together so smoothly without their dedication. I feel incredibly blessed to be part of such a large, loving, and thoughtful family.

Funds raised will support:
-Wishes & More
-Pinky Swear Foundation
-College scholarships for Mounds View High School seniors through the Equity Promise Scholarship Program
-The Maverick Scholarship Fund for families in the Mounds View/Irondale Youth Hockey Association needing help with the high costs of the sport

Each of these organizations holds a personal connection to Josh, making your support all the more meaningful.
