Dear Gingerbread Families,

All Gingerbread locations will be open for regular business hours tomorrow from 6:30-6:00. If the roads are still icy in the morning, please call the main locations to make sure that we were still able to open on time as some of our staff come from outside of the Rosenberg/Richmond area and may experience more icy conditions than immediately near the Academy or Gingerbread House. If you child will not be attending tomorrow, please e-mail either Ms. Kelly or myself. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Dear Gingerbread Kids Academy and After-School Program families,

We just received word that Lamar CISD and Needville ISD have cancelled school for Monday, 1/26/26 due to anticipated severe weather and freezing temperatures. Therefore, all of the Gingerbread Locations will be closed as well this Monday, 1/26/26. We anticipate that we will reopen on Tuesday as long as we have water and utilities.

Please continue to monitor the news reports over the weekend and follow us on the Gingerbread House and Gingerbread Kids Academy pages.

One of our very own Miss Stella (8) joined a photography camp with Impressions by Leslie this week and entered a photo contest.

Stella made her own bracelet “God is Good”, set up her own backdrop and took this beautiful picture.

We are hiring! Gingerbread After-School Programs has openings for after-school teachers and after-school Directors to work at one of our after-school programs on an Elementary campus at Lamar CISD. We have locations in Richmond, Rosenberg and the Fulshear area. The hours are Monday-Friday from 2:30-6:30 starting August 1st. Perfect for college students or retired teachers. You do not need to be a certified teacher or have a teaching degree. Directors must have at least 1 year working in a licensed child care center or after-school program.
