The Harriton Stock Market Club was founded in 1994 to promote an understanding of economic issues, the financial markets, and publicy traded equities among Harriton's student body. The club enhances this experience by partaking in a stock market simulation throughout the academic year and traveling on an annual field trip to financial institutions in New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, DC. Stock Market Club has grown from having fewer than 15 members at its founding to having more than two hundred today, making it the largest club at Harriton High School.
