I absolutely adore witnessing the excitement in children’s eyes when they collaborate and achieve a shared goal. It’s incredibly enjoyable to watch them laugh and encourage one another. This year is going to be fantastic! 🎉🎉

I never took this honor lightly. Being recognized by the New Jersey Department of Education as a Teacher of the Year was more than an award it was a responsibility. It reminded me that our voices matter, our experiences matter, and that educators have the power to influence change far beyond the walls of their classrooms.
I am incredibly grateful for every conversation, every opportunity, every lesson, and every person who became part of this journey. I leave this year not only with memories, but with a renewed sense of purpose and an even stronger commitment to moving our schools and communities forward. I ❤️ my tribe - CTOY 2025-2026
