Each year, the PTO at Ronda Clingman Elementary School awards a scholarship to one East Wilkes High School student. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist a former student from Ronda Clingman Elementary School in pursuing their college or career goals by providing a scholarship opportunity.

This scholarship may be used for purchasing required resources such as textbooks, uniforms, or tools; to pay for classes; for the career path the student is entering or in pursuing further education at an accredited college or university; or work-training program.

Of this year’s applicants, one student’s essay stood out and was selected as this year’s recipient. This year, the Ronda Clingman PTO would like to present Hannah Mathis with the $500 Panther Nation Scholarship. Congratulations!
