The College of Business explored those questions during “The Future Takes Flight: AI, Drones, and Urban Air Mobility” with Dr. Sam Shahid. Attendees gained insight into the technologies shaping the future of transportation, logistics, and smart cities—and the opportunities and challenges that come with them.

🌍 A strong foundation. A global perspective. A future in technology.

For Benjamin Campa ’27, his journey at is helping him turn his interests in technology, cybersecurity, and business into a future with a global impact.

Growing up in Bolingbrook, Illinois and being a Bolingbrook High School graduate, Benjamin developed a passion for technology and a desire to understand how it can be used to solve problems and make a difference. At Lewis, he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with minors in Cybersecurity and Business Administration.

After Lewis, Benjamin plans to pursue an MBA, potentially in the United States or abroad in Barcelona.

His Lewis experience has already given him a global perspective. While studying abroad in Rome, Italy, Benjamin had the unforgettable opportunity to attend Pope Francis’ wake at the Vatican and was interviewed by ABC 7 about his experience.

From his roots in Bolingbrook to experiences across the world, Benjamin is building a future that goes far beyond the classroom.
