Today, Main Elementary gathered together with faculty, staff, friends, and family to celebrate two truly remarkable women who have dedicated their lives to loving, teaching, and shaping children for so many years. Mrs. Belinda Miller and Mrs. Sylvia Shields have touched countless lives through their kindness, patience, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to education. Their classrooms were filled with love, encouragement, and the kind of care that children carry with them forever.
While retirement is a well-earned new chapter, their impact on Main Elementary and the many students and families they have served will never be forgotten. They have helped build the heart of our school, and their legacy will continue for years to come.
Thank you, Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Shields, for every lesson taught, every child encouraged, every hug given, and every life changed. We are better because of you.
Please join us in wishing these two beautiful educators a retirement filled with joy, relaxation, happiness, and all the love they so richly deserve!

Fourth grade took learning beyond the classroom with an exciting field trip to historic Kennesaw Mountain! After studying the Civil War in class, students had the opportunity to walk the battlefield, explore history firsthand, and make meaningful connections to what they’ve been learning.
From hiking the trails to discovering stories from the past, it was a day full of learning, exploration, and unforgettable experiences. We love seeing our students bring history to life through hands-on learning adventures!

Yesterday’s Field Day was packed with laughter, excitement, teamwork, and unforgettable memories! From tug-of-war battles and sack races to water slides and outdoor games, our Wolves had the BEST time celebrating the end of an amazing school year.
The smiles, cheers, and school spirit could be seen all across campus! We are so thankful to Mrs. Owens for organizing Field Day and to the faculty and staff who helped make the day run so smoothly. At Main, we know how to work hard AND have fun!

Today was a special day at Main as we welcomed back some of our former Wolves for a Senior Walk and Reception!
Seeing these seniors walk our halls again brought back so many memories and reminded us just how proud we are of each and every one of them. From little learners at Main to graduates preparing for their next chapter, their journeys are an inspiration to our current students.
We loved celebrating their accomplishments, hearing their stories, and cheering them on as they get ready to take on the future. Once a Main Wolf, always a Main Wolf!
Congratulations, seniors! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you will do!

Our amazing third graders recently took time to write thoughtful cards for every faculty and staff member in our building. Each student was paired with an adult and wrote special messages to let them know how much they are appreciated.
From teachers and custodians to cafeteria workers, office staff, and support staff, our students helped spread smiles all across the school! We are so proud of these thoughtful young leaders for showing gratitude and reminding others just how much they matter.
Small acts of kindness can make a BIG difference! ❤️
