A big shoutout to their PhD mentors, Dr. Nam, Dr. Dawes and Dr. Choudhury. We also appreciate Dr. Sotiriou-Leventis for hooding Dr. Planas on Dr. Dawes’ behalf.

Congratulations Chikadibia for this incredible achievement!

Chikadibia Genevieve Edward, a Ph.D. graduate student in Dr. Risheng Wang’s group of Chemistry, has been awarded a 2026 Pathways Travel Award for her poster presentation at the 2026 NextGen Pathways Symposium, hosted at Missouri S&T (March 12–13, 2026). Her poster, titled “Engineering a DNA–Polymer Hybrid Nanocarrier for Sustained Delivery of 2-Mercaptopropionylglycine for Prevention of Cataracts,” was recognized for its excellence.
