🔥WORK AFTER DARK🔥

An update from the owner:

“Hey folks, Logan here. After lengthy discussion and evaluating available options, I’ve had to make the difficult decision to move this years “Work After Dark” program to Bella Vista, AR. We are thankful to the Bella Vista Fire Department for their hospitality, and look forward to giving our students the best experience possible during our time back in North West Arkansas. With that being said, a couple of seats have opened up for this years offering, which has been all but sold out since the beginning of JULY. Message the page for more info. 🔥BACK TO BASICS: Engine Edition🔥

Fundamentals put out fires. It’s time we refocus. “Back To Basics: Engine Edition” brings this ideaolgy to the drill ground. The fundamental tasks that saturate the first arriving engine company. Make the stretch. Force the door. Get that nozzle to the seat while cooling along the way. Get that victim out while maintaining your push. Come spend 8 hours with the Rural Fire Tactics cadre flowing water, and celebrating firemanship.

Last night's graduation was an overwhelming success. The incredible amount of people who came to support these men and women is a testament to the kind of people they are not just as firemen but at home.

Every seat was full. People lined the walls and rows and the crowd spread nearly out the door. No one was able to get an official count but we estimate well over 100 people were in attendance.

It's a very visible reminder that the fire service family extends far beyond the walls of any sation and are just as important as the men and women we serve with.

I would argue that they are the most important part.

The pride was evident on each and every one of the graduates faces as they stood up and received their certificates. This pride was rivaled only by the overwhelming and undeniable support and celebration from those in the audience. The applause and cheers were loud enough to rattle the windows and these firefighters earned every minute of the celebration.

To the Cadets -

This is just the beginning for all of you.
Never stop training.
Never stop learning.
Don't ever lose the determination to keep driving forward.
Become the firefighter you would want coming to save your family.

And just like that, the inaugural class of the Benton County Fire Academy has come to a close. Months of sacrifice, exhaustion, discipline, and determination have paid off.

These cadets have pushed through long nights, grueling evolutions, physical exhaustion, self-doubt, and relentless standards. They have learned that this profession is built on commitment, accountability, and the willingness to place others before themselves.

They entered this academy as individuals. They leave these grounds as brothers and sisters.

Every ladder thrown, every hose advanced, every search completed, and every burn conquered has forged them into something greater than they were on day one.

One challenge remains: the Firefighter II certification exam.

The finish line is in sight, but the mission is not yet complete.

Stand tall class of 2026. You've earned every blister, every scar, every lesson, and every ounce of respect that comes with wearing the title of firefighter.

One final test stands between you and the next chapter.

Finish strong.

Huge shout out to NWA Towing for providing the vehicles for our training this weekend and Springdale Fire Department Ladder 8 for coming to assist with instruction.

Hell House night 🔥

Zero visibility and a long way to go to get to the end. This entanglement and obstacle course builds confidence and sharpens problem solving skills in low and zero visibility conditions.

With dead ends, multiple entanglement risks and simulated structural failures, cadets worked through to the end testing their patience and teamwork.
